Logitech launches a solar keyboard for Mac and iPad

Recently the Logitech company launched a new keyboard for Macs, known under the code name K750, the ability to charge using solar energy. Of course, the keyboard connects to the Mac with the help of a Bluetooth connection, so it works on the basis of batteries, but those from Logitech have not specified how much the keyboard is capable of working on the basis of these batteries or how long it takes to charge them using solar energy. The keyboard contains of course all the buttons that you would normally find in one for Mac, looks good from an aesthetic point of view and of course the top band allows charging using solar energy.

The keyboard costs $80 in the US, it has been available in stores for some time and those who bought it are more than happy with the way it looks. The idea behind this keyboard is very interesting, it is not the first keyboard of this kind, but I for one am curious to find out how long it takes to charge and how long the battery lasts, 2 aspects that neither Logitech nor those who tested it have expressed. The best part? We can use it even with iPad tablets. We get more information from the manufacturer, de here.
