How useful would an 4GB iPhone 8 be?

IERI (Yesterday) I was telling you that Apple is preparing the launch of a new version of the iPhone 4 that will have a storage capacity of 8GB and will replace the current models available in stores around the world. In practice, Apple will follow its tradition and halve the storage capacity of the cheapest iPhone 4 model, but if this did not matter for the iPhone 3G/3GS, how will things be in the case of the iPhone 4? Looking through the comments of that article, I noticed one that puts the usefulness of an iPhone 4 with only 8 GB of space into perspective:

8 GB is already a joke on a retina display. Well, there are games that already take up more than 1GB, and anyway the applications for iphone 4 take up more than the traditional ones. 16 gb minimum to move decently, because if you take your iphone 4 you can put 2-3 games in it and only 2 hours of music:|, because the video in 720p becomes really useless.... no worries. If I remove the low cost model, do I understand that I remove the 4GB version? I'm disappointed and I hope that Apple includes at least a card slot in future models... if they still intend to release models with such a small space.

Games made for Retina Display are starting to take up more and more space and companies like Gameloft is thinking of releasing only universal apps so you will have to install games that have both graphics for Retina Display and graphics for iPad and the occupied space will be quite large. Photos and videos occupy a very good part of the available space on an iDevice and if we also add music or even a movie or two, then 8GB of storage space seems to be too much of a compromise for a device like the iPhone 4.

You will never see SD cards in an iDevice, so you can take your advice from them and 8 GB versions of the terminals seem to be a good thing in the view of those from Apple. Of course, now the company from Cupertino will also "bet" on iCloud, which will allow you to store online music and photos, but without an Internet connection, such functions are really useless.

What do you think, will an 4GB iPhone 8 be useful?
