Apple recently registered patents for the implementation of projectors in iDevices and a company from San Francisco already discovered a possible use of them. In the video clip above, we have demonstrated a concept in which an iPhone 5 is equipped with a keyboard that can be projected right in front of the device. The keyboard is large enough to allow typing easily, but it can be repositioned by simple gestures, so we are talking about a system similar to the kinect developed by Microsoft.
If a projected keyboard is not enough, then maybe a holographic image of the screen would be what interests you. The terminal is capable of projecting the holographic image, right above it, and what would be the point of implementing this function if the user could not interact with the operating system? The concept is very interesting, very well done and I hope that in 5-6 years we will remember it and look at our terminals that will be able to do such things.
