Directly from the kickstarter world I have a new project for you called SCANDY and which promises to transform our terminal into a portable scanner. Basically SCANDY is a kind of telescope on which our terminal can be mounted and which helps us to make better "scans" for documents, pictures, etc. In the view of those from SCANDY, a scan is a picture taken from a certain angle and at a certain distance from the object that we want to scan, and their accessory helps us to take the best possible picture. The accessory allows you to mount the iPhone and adjust the distance between the terminal's camera and the document so that we have a clearer and better picture.

SCANDY is designed to turn your smartphone into a powerful portable scanner. Technically, scanning a document or even a 3D object is the same as taking a photo of it. The camera lenses built into smartphones have become ridiculously powerful. What makes it difficult to scan a paper with your phone is the challenge of holding it still while at the time trying to keep it at a perfect distance to the paper. This is where SCANDY comes in. Our telescopic mechanism allows you to infinitely adjust to different paper sizes. The slick, minimalist design approach of SCANDY will definitely "catch your eye" and help you "catch up" around the office or at home.

Theoretically, anyone can make equally successful "scans" if they hold the terminal at a certain distance and at a certain angle to the document, so such an accessory is not necessarily needed, but on kickstarter the project has a fairly high popularity. A $40 donation will bring SCANDY home, so we're talking about a pretty high price for an adjustable telescopic stand for photographing documents. SCANDY will help you take better pictures for your documents, but the terminal's camera does all the work, so from an economic point of view it would be more useful for you to find the best angle for taking pictures.
