Possible iPhone 5 icon included in PhotoStream beta

Apple has a habit of making a connection between the device icons present in iTunes, or other company applications, and the iDevice that is connected to that application. In this idea, we have icons of all iDevices in iTunes precisely to make a clear difference between each individual model. Now in beta PhotoStream released for iOS app developers Apple has put a new icon that should represent an iPhone that is currently not available in the company's offer. Iconita presents a device with a visibly larger screen than that of current terminals, practically resembling a Samsung Galaxy S II rather than an iPhone launched by Apple.

In general, the company does not post "wrong" photos for the software, but considering that we are talking about a beta version of PhotoStream, it is possible that the Apple engineers wanted to generate a little buzz among the developers. The image does not confirm in any way that the iPhone 5 will have a larger screen, but it represents a novelty for the applications published by Apple.
