Muffin Knight is the newest game developed by Angry Mob Games, the Romanian company thanks to which we have Guerrilla Bob available in the App Store. Muffin Knight was launched in the App Store with the help of those from Chillingo who are also in charge of its promotion. In Muffin Knight we have control over several races of "warriors" that we must use to kill the NPCs that are sent in each level. The game allows us to change our characters right during the game by collecting some muffins and as we progress in the game we have the option to improve the characteristics of each individual character.
On a leisurely stroll around the edges of the forest, a young boy encounters a basket of delicious muffins. Demonstrating all the impetuousness of youth, the wee fellow goes to tuck in, his eagerness sparking an explosion that sees the cakes scattered across the landscape. Unfortunately for the little lad, the owner of the muffins is an old fairy who, aggrieved at her baked goods loss, transforms the boy into a knight via a curse. She promises to turn him back into a youngster if he can retrieve all 15 of her muffins. And so the platforming adventures begin, with the boy shapeshifting into a different creature every time he comes into contact with another muffin. Should you get stuck at any point in Muffin Knight's single-player mode, you can dial up a friend and team up over local wi-fi.
If you don't like the single player mode then you have the option to invite your friends to the game using the multiplayer mode which allows you to play in a team with a friend using a Wi-Fi network. Muffin Knight is available in the App Store as a universal application for €0.79.
