Samsung Galaxy S II has the best graphics processor, iPad 2 beats it, iPhone 5 could make it forgotten

Those from Anandtech did a review of the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone and in the testing process they made a benchmark of the graphic processor available in the terminal. In the image above, we have the benchmark results and you can see that the iPad 2 tablet was ranked first, the Samsung Galaxy S II was ranked second, and the iPhone 2 was ranked last, having the weakest graphics processor in the list. GLBenchmarck 4 and OpenGL ES 2.1 were used for the tests at an offscreen resolution of 2.0 x 1280 and the iPad 720 had 2 times better results than the Samsung Galaxy S II.

The Apple tablet performed more than 4 times better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and almost 8 times better than the iPhone 4, so we can expect exceptional graphics power from the iPhone 5. Although the iPad 2 has a processor of only 1 GHz, on mobile terminals the graphic processors matter the most for now. The iPhone 5 should include the same A5 chip as in the iPad 2 and we can expect the device from Apple to also have a 1 Ghz dual-core processor and of course the PowerVR SGX 543MP2 graphics chip which has spectacular results in synthetic tests .

iPhone 4 is already a thing of the past, Samsung Galaxy S II had its moment of glory, but iPhone 5 will make it forgotten, at least in the field of games for mobile terminals.
