Samsung is suing Apple in France for infringing three patents

In July of this year, Samsung sued Apple in France for the violation a 3 patents granted for technologies implemented in the iOS operating system. Although the application was filed in July at a court in France, we are only now learning about it for the first time, but even so we will have to wait until December to see it debated before the court. Samsung claims that Apple violated 3 technologies patented by the Asian company when it developed iOS, and of course everything is part of the legal war that the 2 companies have been waging for several months.

South Korea's Samsung Electronics said Monday it had filed a complaint in France against its US rival Apple for infringement of three technology patents.

"The complaint focuses on three technology patents, and not on the design of the tablets," as was the case in a complaint filed in Germany that Apple won last week, a Samsung spokeswoman said.

The complaint was filed before a Paris district court in July and the first hearing is expected in December.

Last week, a German court blocked the sale of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but only on German territory, and on September 26, we will find out the decision of a Dutch court before which Apple requests a ban on the sale of Galaxy series smartphones. Unfortunately, the 2 companies have years of legal battles ahead of them due to patents and although Apple won the first battle, it is not known how successful the company's lawyers from Cupertino will be in the future.
