iDevices and removable batteries

Ever since the launch of the first model of the iPhone, there has been a problem that for some proved to be decisive in the decision to purchase a terminal: the possibility of changing the battery. No Apple iDevice allows the user to change the battery except by opening the product and canceling the warranty. This is a security measure that Apple has implemented to prevent users from opening the terminals, walking around in them, damaging them and then returning them to be exchanged.

For me this aspect is unimportant because having 3 iPhone terminals I have never felt the need to change the battery of any of them. The 3-year-old iPhone 2GS holds up quite well in terms of battery life, it's not as good as the first day, but it's still not weak enough to require a battery change. With the iPhone 4, the situation is identical and I have never felt the need to complain to those from Apple that instead of a removable case, they put a fixed one with screws that cannot be opened too easily.

How important was this aspect to you in purchasing an iDevice and would you like to have the possibility to change the battery of your device?
