One in 4 Americans who own an Android terminal are interested in buying the iPhone 5

The launch of the iPhone 5 is certainly one of the most important technological events of the year, so various companies conduct surveys to see how many consumers are interested in purchasing the new product of the company from Cupertino. According to InMobi, one of the largest advertising networks in the US, approximately 52% of BlackBerry device owners and 27% of Android device owners participating in an online survey are interested in buying the iPhone 5. The survey was conducted in North America and reveals the great interest in the Apple product.

The study uncovered that over half of BlackBerry users (52%) are planning to switch to the new Apple iPhone 5, followed by 51% of current iPhone users and over one in four (27%) Android owners. Even if the announcement only unveils an iPhone 4S, 28% of current BlackBerry smartphone owners plan to switch to Apple, more than double the amount of current iPhone and Android owners.

We already knew about Android owners who want to switch to iOS, but we didn't know about so many BlackBerry owners who are looking for a quality iPhone. The interest in the iPhone 5 was mainly generated by the rumors that appeared recently, rumors that presented a terminal with certain features that will probably not be implemented by Apple in the final product. This is not the first survey of this kind that indicates that the interest in the iPhone 5 is high and the Apple company knows this, now it remains to be seen if it will launch a device worthy of purchase and if it will have enough in store stocks.
