Safari reaches a market share of 5% for the first time in history

After years and years of availability, here is Apple's Safari browser hits for the first time in history a market share of 5% globally. The announcement was made by those from Net Applications who monitor internet traffic worldwide and in September the Safari browser had a market share of 5%. Of course, Internet Explorer remains in first place with a market share of 55%, Firefox occupies the 2nd place with 24% and Google's Chrome browser occupies the third position with almost 17%.

Safari's market share was calculated only on the basis of the traffic registered by Macs/PCs, not by mobile terminals (we also include the iPad here), so we are talking about a high interest in the full version of the program. Apple has been trying for years to turn Safari into a truly competitive browser and the truth is that with each update it implements new and useful functions, but for now Firefox and Chrome are much better alternatives for users.
