Apple Care+ helps you replace your iPhone even in case of an accident

Along with the new one iPhone 4S, Apple launched an App Store a new product called AppleCare + which offers users the opportunity to extend their device warranty but also to benefit from the replacement of the terminal in case of an accident. The new product from Apple gives us the opportunity to replace or repair an iPhone 2 times for the amount of $49, no matter what defect the device has. Basically, if it is a complete replacement or a replacement of the screen, the user will only pay $49 to Apple and the problem will be solved. Normally, replacement in case of an accident caused by the user does not apply, so AppleCare + extends the warranty to 2 years, but also brings the facility of repair/replacement at a much lower price.

Every iPhone comes with one year of hardware repair coverage and 90 days of telephone technical support. AppleCare+ for iPhone extends repair coverage and technical support to two years from the original purchase date of your iPhone and adds coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage due to handling, each subject to a $49 service fee.1 With AppleCare+ for iPhone, Apple experts can help troubleshoot issues over the phone or at an Apple Retail Store. They'll answer questions about iOS, Apple iPhone apps such as Mail, iMessage, and Calendar, and help you solve interconnectivity issues between your iPhone and Mac or PC. And if your iPhone needs service under the plan, Apple technical support representatives can even set up a repair during the same call.

This $49 is paid in addition to the $99 paid to buy the package offered by Apple and don't think that it is a large amount because iPhone terminal repairs are very expensive. For the time being, the new AppleCare + is only available in the US, but Apple will most likely expand it internationally and it will probably arrive in Europe later this year, where the prices in euros will be somewhat lower. In Romania, local resellers could introduce such plans for users, all depending on Apple's goodwill.
