iPhone 4S pre-ordered in 200.000 units in just 12 hours of availability at AT&T

Do you remember iPhone 4S, the terminal that many people were disappointed with and that many did not want? If so, I will inform you that AT&T USA were recorded no less than 200.000 pre-orders for the new Apple device and the figure would probably have been higher if the operator's servers had managed to cope with the traffic. Making a comparison with the launch of the iPhone 4, Apple announced that it sold 600.000 units on the first day of pre-orders in all the countries where it launched the terminal, but this year only one US operator recorded a third of the pre-orders. In the USA, Apple, AT&T, Sprint and Verizon sell the iPhone 4S, and in the other 5 countries, Apple's online store struggled to cope with the very high traffic.

(Reuters) – AT&T (TN) sold more than 200,000 of Apple Inc's (AAPL.O) latest iPhone in the first 12 hours and said it had seen "extraordinary demand" for a gadget unveiled a day before the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Those from AT&T say that this is the most important launch of a mobile phone, registering the most pre-orders for it, although initially the world was disappointed by the product of the Apple company. It is possible that Apple has registered 1 million pre-orders or more in all the countries where the iPhone 4S is available now and yes, this could be the most "successful" launch of an iPhone terminal in the history of the company. In fact, it is the biggest launch of a smartphone, because so far no other device in the same category has managed to attract so many users.

In conclusion, iPhone 4S, a failure? Not by a long shot, Steve's latest iPhone 4 will outsell the iPhone 4.
