iPhone 5 could have a new design thanks to Steve Jobs

All summer we saw rumors about a new iPhone 5 with a different design from the iPhone 4, but in the end we chose the iPhone 4S, which is essentially an iPhone 4 with better hardware. Well, all the rumors about the iPhone 5 could come true next year when Apple could reveal to the whole world the latest creation of Steve Jobs. It seems that the future model of the iPhone terminal could be the last one that Steve Jobs would have worked closely on and that he would have brought close to completion, the terminal already having an established design. The information comes from those from cNET which quotes an American analyst but also a source from within the Apple company who claims that the iPhone 5 will represent a major change compared to the iPhone 4/4S.

In the note, Kumar said the phone will have a slimmer profile and larger screen size but with the same dimensions as the iPhone 4S (the relatively-small 3.5-inch screen is not one of the 4S' best features). The iPhone is also expected to have LTE, or Long Term Evolution–what's sometimes referred to as 4G. Another source, who I spoke with this week and who claims to have knowledge of the redesign, said the iPhone 5 is a "complete redesign. This is a very large project that Steve dedicated all of his time to. He was not that involved in the 4S because his time was limited."

It is interesting that Steve Jobs was not involved in the development of the iPhone 4S but directly in the one for the iPhone 5, so theoretically next year we are expecting a truly great device. For now, there is talk of a design that would bring a thinner iPhone and a bigger screen, but nothing more, and we already knew this information since the summer of this year. Until next autumn, Apple can change a lot and the iPhone 4S seems to be the best-selling iPhone ever released, so it will be interesting to see how the year will prepare Apple for the upcoming launch and what kind of device it will release to convince even more iPhone owners to upgrade.
