Apple is testing an iPad tablet with a 8-inch screen

Even before Apple launched the new iPad tablet, there were rumors circulating that initially we would only have a model with a 7-inch screen available and not the almost 10-inch one. The rumors continued even before the launch of the iPad 2 and now they are back to life before the launch of the iPad 3 tablet. It seems that Apple tested currently 7.85 inch screens for iPad tablets and these tests are perfectly normal for a company that is always looking for new ideas and is always focused on revolutionizing existing products.

Steve Jobs said last year that 7-inch tablets have no use on the market because they are too small to compete with tablets and too big to compete with smartphones, but the company's engineers in Cupertino are still testing these models. Until now, tablets with a 7-inch screen have not been successful, and I don't see why one produced by Apple would be, considering that the iPad 2 has the right dimensions. I don't think that Apple will release a tablet with a screen of only 8 inches in the near future, but rumors like this will not disappear soon.
