Every day more than 10.000 Romanians read iDevice.ro and 10% of you answered the survey published by me last week after the release of iOS 5 via iTunes. Based on the answers given in the survey, it seems that 44% of you are satisfied with the new iOS 5, 21% would have liked more functions, 3% are not satisfied with the implemented functions and 2% say that the performance is not good or some functions are missing. Apple says that over 25 million iDevices have already installed iOS 5 and that means that a third of all iDevices compatible with the new operating system and installed it.
I for one am satisfied with the new iOS 5, I like how well it moves on iPhone terminals and I like the fact that Apple has significantly improved the performance of the native Safari browser. Regarding the battery autonomy, things have not changed much compared to iOS 4.x, the autonomy is lower, but in my case it is a decrease of less than 5 percent. I know that some of you complained that the autonomy is less than on iOS 4.x, I explained here some possible causes and I hope that things have improved in the meantime.
I believe that Apple's iOS 5 is a "success" and the 25 million iDevices that have installed it reflect this.
