Apple sells more smartphones than Nokia

For Apple's second consecutive fiscal quarter sell more smartphones than the Finnish company Nokia, which unfortunately recorded losses in the last three months of this year. Apple sold 17.1 million smartphones in the last 3 months of this year, just 3.3 million more than Nokia, which sold 16.8 million smartphones. Apple manages to stay at the top of the Finnish company, although a year ago the situation was completely different, in favor of Nokia.

Although it is still at the top of the Nokia company, Apple sold fewer units than in the previous fiscal quarter and Nokia registered an increase. It is true that for Nokia the increase is only 100.000 units, but Apple sold 3 million units less, so we are talking about significant losses for the company from Cupertino. In the next fiscal quarter, we will probably witness record numbers from the Apple company and it is possible that the sales of Q3 2011 (for Apple) will be slightly surpassed.
