Since I bought the new iPhone 4S I noticed a discrepancy between the signal quality of the new device and that of the iPhone 4 terminal launched last year by Apple. The new iPhone 4S can only be switched from a 3G network to an EDGE one if you are in an area where there is no 3G coverage and in my case I notice that the iPhone 4 does better than the iPhone 4S in terms of signal quality. In the image above you have a comparison made between iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S using the Field Test application and you notice that iPhone 4 has a reception of -78 while iPhone 4S has -94, the value of -78 being better.
Apple solved the problem that led to the loss of signal on the iPhone 4, but apparently the new 4S does not do so well with signal reception, as you can see in the image above. I didn't lose calls, I didn't have any kind of problem like this even when I traveled through Bucharest, but the signal fluctuates in the area where I live, so the battery autonomy suffers considering that I can't switch it to EDGE. If you have iPhone 4S terminals and iPhone 4 terminals at home, I am curious if you experience the same differences or if it is something that happens only in my case.
