Apple has released new versions of the MacBook Pro!

Morning I told you that Apple is going to launch new versions of the MacBook Pro on the market and this happened today. They already appear on the company's website the new models of the famous MacBook Pro and by and large we are only talking about changes in terms of the processors used but also the capacity of the included hard disks. For the new MacBook Pro series, Apple has prepared second-generation Sandy Bridge processors, with slightly higher speeds and much better performance, but also hard disks that have a larger capacity but the same speed of 5400 RPM.

According to the information published this morning, the new MacBook Pros have the following configurations:

MacBook Pro 13 inch:

  • dual-core processor Intel i5 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, SD slot
  • dual-core processor Intel i7 2.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, SD slot

MacBook Pro 15-inch:

  • quad-core processor Intel i7 2.2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, SD slot
  • quad-core processor Intel i7 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, SD slot

MacBook Pro 17-inch:

  • quad-core processor Intel i7 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, SD slot plus Express Card slot

Custom configurations:

  • 15-inch: quad-core Intel i7 2.5 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD (7200 RPM)
  • 17-inch: quad-core Intel i7 2.5 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD (7200 RPM)

Of course, the prices remained the same for all models and the design is unchanged, but unfortunately Apple did not implement 7200 RPM hard drives in all its models. For the 15/17 inch versions we can also buy an SSD and this option will prove to be extremely inspiring for any future Mac owner because an SSD exponentially increases the performance of the product. Apple has also changed the graphics cards available in Macs, so that the ATI HD 6750M with 512 MB of RAM is now available in the 15-inch version of the MacBook Pro at the price of $1800, while the 15-inch version that costs $2200 has an ATI HD 6770M graphics card with 1 GB GDDR5 RAM. For the 17-inch version of the MacBook Pro, we have a new ATI HD 6770M graphics card with 1 GB GDDR5 RAM instead of the ATI HD 6750M with 512 MB RAM.
