Here are the possible configurations of the new MacBook Pro series

Last weeks we told you that Apple would prepare the launch of new models of MacBook Pro and it seems so the first configurations of the new products are already available. We are talking about the implementation of new, slightly faster processors, but also about increasing the available space in Macs, so a minor upgrade at first glance, but which brings a significant improvement in the performance of Macs. The prices of the products remain the same, the 13-inch MacBook Pros still have dual-core processors and the entire configuration is listed below:

MacBook Pro 13 inch:

  • dual-core 2.4 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, SD slot
  • dual-core 2.8 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, SD slot

MacBook Pro 15-inch:

  • quad-core 2.2 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, SD slot
  • quad-core 2.4 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, SD slot

MacBook Pro 17-inch:

  • quad-core 2.4 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD, SD slot plus Express Card slot

Custom configurations:

  • 15-inch: 2.5 GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD (7200 RPM)
  • 17-inch: 2.5 GHz quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD (7200 RPM)

In the end, we are talking about minor changes that bring the same 5200 RPM hard disks that incredibly slow down any system no matter what processor/RAM it has, the same design but also the same price for users. It is not known when the new MacBook Pro series will be available for purchase, but in the following weeks Apple should officially launch it.
