A few months later an identical initiative owned by Orange Romania, the mobile phone operator Vodafone decided to offer the Personal HotSpot function for free to its customers. Starting yesterday, Vodafone Romania subscribers should be able to activate the Personal HotSpot function for free on iPhone terminals, a function that until now could only be activated through an option whose value was 5€ per month. Vodafone has not made an official announcement, but if you call the customer relations service and ask to activate this function, you should not encounter any problems.
Personal HotSpot is a function implemented by Apple in iOS 4.3 that allows iPhone users to turn their device into a Wi-Fi HotSpot but to use their terminal as a modem for a computer. If you managed to activate your option, please leave a comment.
