iOS 5 – the untethered jailbreak situation

I noticed that many of you are now wondering what is happening with the untethered jailbreak solutions promised by the Dev Team and the Chronic Dev Team so many months ago. Well, they are in the development process, the Dev Team is working on its completion, the Chronic Dev Team has finally managed to purchase an iPhone 4S terminal and started work, so the release of this untethered jailbreak solution will take a few more weeks. Do not expect it to appear and not be available for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S because this was the main reason for the postponement of its launch.

Both Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team will continue to work on these solutions until they make them compatible with iPad 2 and iPhone 4S and only after this happens they will release them. I know that many people do not like this situation, but for the teams it is the only way to ensure that the solution works on all iDevices without problems and that Apple will not block it before it reaches the new terminals. Of course, no one knows when the untethered jailbreak solution will actually be launched, so we all have to be patient.
