Yesterday I told you that Apple has a controlled TV in operation by the personal assistant Siri, i.e. a TV that can be controlled by our voice. The idea is interesting but it has some small imperfections that Apple should solve before everything becomes extremely annoying for users. Video clip above describe as well as possible the whole idea of a television controlled by simple voice commands and observe for yourself what would be the main problem with this type of system.
I can already imagine the users yelling at the TV to cancel the recorded product orders from the movies on the screen and foresee many phones coming to the Apple company. The problem could be solved extremely easily, just like in the case of the Siri terminal on the phone, i.e. to run Siri commands, the user should activate it manually, and during this time the sound of the TV should be turned off. This manual activation could be done with the help of a remote control and the whole system would be useless. I am extremely curious to see how Apple could launch a TV controlled by voice commands but which would not have such problems.
