iOS 5 allows the recording of panoramic photos, the Firebreak tweak activates it

How long iOS 5 was available in beta version I told you that Apple is working on implementing an option which will allow us to record panoramic pictures using our terminals. Well, the function was not officially launched for iDevices, but it was discovery inside iOS and with the help of a small tweak we can activate it. Firebreak is the name of that tweak, it was designed by chpwn and as you can see, it adds in the Camera application the option to activate the function of recording panoramic photos using an iDevice.

This function is only available on terminals that have a gyroscope, i.e. iPhone 4, iPad 2, etc., so you will not be able to activate it on the iPhone 3GS, for example. Since Apple did not implement the option in the final version of iOS 5, I assume that it is not quite ready to be used by the general public. If you activate the option, you must expect that the pictures will not be as great as you would have imagined because we are talking about a function that is NOT complete. The Firebreak tweak that activates the Panorama function is available in Cydia for free.
