Today it seems that a new program has appeared on the internet that allows us to do a tethered jailbreak for iOS 5 and the program is called Ac1dsn0w. Although the program was supposed to bring untethered jailbreak to the masses, in the end it uses geohot's bootrom exploit to do everything that redsn0w and sn0wbreeze have been doing for months. This Ac1dsn0w brings absolutely nothing new or innovative for users and to be honest I don't even know how safe it is because I haven't tested it and I don't plan to do it considering that redsn0w and sn0wbreeze do their job very well .
The program has an almost identical functionality to that of redsn0w and I say "almost" because it has some missing functions, but the project developers say that the problem will be solved in the future. I would like to be happy that a new jailbreak team called Pwn Dev Team exists, but so far they have used something existing to bring nothing important to users. Here you can find their website and you have the download link below, but the program doesn't offer anything interesting for now, so I won't do a jailbreak tutorial because I, for one, don't support it yet.
