We had a fairly quiet week until Sunday, the day when the information about the untethered jailbreak and unlock solutions for iOS 5 started to arrive. The Chronic Dev Team admitted that everything they promised was "destroyed" by Apple and that the work must be done mostly from the beginning, but the Dev Team gives us good news about the unlock solution for the iPhone 4S. MuscleNerd confirmed that an exploit was discovered in the baseband of the iPhone 4S that could be developed into an unlock solution, but for now not much is known about it. In the end I found out that Siri can communicate with almost any electronic device and I hope that in iOS 5.1 Apple will expand its functionality. Next week we could have iOS 5.0.2 in iTunes and an untethered jailbreak solution but from the Dev Team.
