Samsung is developing a dual-core chip capable of supporting the Retina Display resolution on the iPad 3

Today the Samsung company announced the launch of a new SoC model based on the ARM infrastructure. The new chip is capable of displaying resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 on mobile terminals and yes, a retina screen for the iPad 3 would need such a processor. The Samsung Exynos 5250 is an integrated chip that, in addition to a dual-core processor, also has a sufficiently powerful graphics chip to display images at a resolution such as the one previously mentioned, but it is not known how powerful it is.

The Exynos chip consists of two ARM Cortex-A15 chips of 2.0 GHz each, so we are talking about high processing power and unprecedented speed in a chip for mobile terminals. I assume that these chips will end up in the future terminals of Samsung or maybe even in the tablet of those from Apple considering that they are based on ARM processors.
