Viber is one of the most popular VoIP services for making phone calls and sending messages between iOS and Android, and the team of developers behind the application will bring Viber to the Romanian App Store. A few tens of minutes ago, a representative of Viber left a comment in an old article asking for the support of Romanians who use the Viber application to translate certain components of it. Translate.viber.com is the page through which you can contribute to the faster development of Viber in Romanian and if you have time and you like the application you can give the developers a helping hand.
Viber is an iPhone application that lets you make free phone calls and send free text messages to other iPhone users who have Viber installed. When you use Viber, your phone calls to any other Viber user are free, and the sound quality is much better than a regular call. You can call any Viber user, anywhere in the world, for free and now also text them. All Viber features are 100% FREE and do not require any additional "in application" purchase.

Of. In afarsit, pot sa sun de pe Viber!!! 😉
@Flo pana acum nu puteai ? E grav…

@zaone –
Va multumim pentru articol!
We hope to see many of our Romanian users contribute in our translation page. It is important for us to let our users shape Viber the way they want it 🙂
the Viber Team.
Scuze. Double post. Am încercat sa rectific. My bad.
@Lia –
Does this problem occur on both iPhone and Android translation page?
You can’t insert more than 5 letters?
@Lia: La add poti introduce adauga.
@Viber Translation in iPhone/iPad app (Română):
“Wait, {Contact_Name}” cannot be translated in under 9 (nine) characters, as requested…
Ma scuzi atunci bogdane 🙂
Thank you for the report. We are investigating this issue and we will hopefully fix it soon (allow more characters to be written inside the box).
Meanwhile, you should be able to keep translating the other phrases.

Unfortunately, Vodafone Romania decided to block Viber on their 3G network, and there is not much we can do 🙁
Try contacting them and demand answers.
Alternately, you can try using a VPN connection. For more details, google it and find more people in your network who will guide you how to do it.
@Viber: That’s old. They’re asking users to buy an internet option to use VoIP.
And are users really buying it?
Or are they simply angry at Vodafone? 😉
Well those who want VoIP buy it. I belive Skype is blocked aswell and other apps too.
