Siri can be legally ported to older iDevices thanks to a new version of iOS for the iPhone 4S

Since the iPhone 4S appeared, users have been waiting for Siri to be ported to the old iDevices, but this did not happen because it involved the hacking of some Apple company files. It was said that a boorom exploit is needed for the iPhone 4S to be able to offer Siri to all users, but where the Dev Team could not, maybe Apple. Last night Apple launched a new version of iOS 5.0.1 for iPhone 4S and the ipsw offered to users is the first one that does not have an encrypted ramdisk, and this means that hackers can obtain and break the keys that prevent access to system files.

Basically, Apple now offers hackers a very easy method to access the system files of the iPhone 4S and to port Siri to the old iDevices. Everything can be done legally, without problems because Apple indirectly offers the solution to the problem. Now I assume that hackers have already taken Siri from iOS 5.0.1 for iPhone 4S and in the following days we will see available the first tweaks that will allow the installation of Siri on iPhone 3GS/4, iPad 1/2 and iPod Touch 3G/4G. What can I say, thank the people from Apple for the little gift and that's it.
