iWavIt is an accessory for iDevices that allows users to control their TV using their own device and not a dedicated remote control. The accessory is attached to our iDevice and with the help of special applications it allows controlling almost any TV model currently available on the market. Of course, the accessory contains an infrared sensor and through it we can control not only a TV but also a console or even a PC/Mac. Of course, to do this you need applications, and the developer company of the accessory has them in the App Store a very long list of applications for almost any TV model.

You know, the one that is able to control all your IR devices (your TV and DVD etc.) AND your PC and Mac, and even your PS3 and Xbox360. Wouldn't it be great if a product existed which would turn your iPad (and iPod touch and iPhone) into an ultimate remote control? All the remotes could be contained inside your iPad so you would never lose them and so they would not clutter your living room. You would be able to control your Comcast, Dish, DirecTV, AT&T U-verse, Verizon FiOS, Cablevision, and Cox Cable TV. You would be able to control your Samsung, Sony, LG, and Vizio TV, just to mention a few.

iWavIt is an interesting accessory, but in the case of this kind of devices, the price is always a problem. Well, iWavIt is available in two versions: a Basic one for which you have to pay 50$ and a premium one that offers the possibility to control not only a TV but which costs 80$. You can get more information from manufacturer's website but I don't know if deliveries are also made in Romania.
