Apple plans to develop new applications for iCloud

iCloud is an online data backup and file sharing system between iDevices, and Apple wants to develop it into something much more important than that. Although the company has not officially announced the expansion of the iCloud offer, on the Apple website there are several listings for positions within the iCloud development team. Specifically, Apple is looking for engineers capable of developing new applications for the iCloud system and I can only think that in the future we will be able to do much more with iCloud than at the moment.

The iCloud team is looking for a proactive, creative-minded (engineer) to build the next generation of cocoa-based client applications that integrate tightly with a set of cloud-based services.

No one knows what else Apple could implement in iCloud, but I assume we will find out in the following months. Regardless of what Apple plans to build, I hope that those services will be available in Romania too, otherwise everything is absolutely useless for us.
