In case you didn't already know, at the moment three entities are working on two untethered jailbreak solutions for two different versions of iOS. Pod2G and Chronic Dev Team are working on the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.0.1 and i0n1c seems willing to make an untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.3.5. Of course, for 4.3.5 there is no need for an untethered jailbreak solution, but maybe i0n1c anticipates a stagnation in the development of the jailbreak solution for iOS 5.0.1 and wants to offer users a complete jailbreak for the latest version of iOS 4.
Many of you expect that in the following days at least an untethered jailbreak solution will be published, but I for one believe that this will not happen. Even those who develop jailbreak solutions have holidays, even they will take a break, so from my point of view you can rest easy because an untethered jailbreak solution will only be available next year, after iOS 5.1 is released.
