Last night at CES 2012 Acer submitted its first quad-core tablet named Aconia Tab A700. We are talking about a tablet that has a 10.1-inch screen with a 1080p resolution and a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 identical to the one already implemented in the Asus Transformer Prime tablet. Aconoa Tab A700 has a 9800 mAh battery, bigger than the one implemented by Apple in iPad 2, a 5 megapixel camera and Dolby Digital Audio speakers. The really important element of this tablet is the 1080p (1920×1080) resolution screen implemented in it because it gives us hope regarding the possible implementation of a Retina Display in iPad 3.

Besides Aconia Tab A700 Acer submitted last night and AcerCloud, a cloud computing system specially designed for the company's laptops/smartphones and tablets. Unfortunately, Acer took over from Apple the way of presenting such a system, changing only some design elements and renaming PhotoStream to PicStream. Acer has been making ultrabooks for some time that look quite similar to Apple's MacBook Airs, so a "borrowing" of the style of presenting products was the next logical step in the company's evolution.
