Apple ranks 3rd in the top US PC manufacturers

The year 2011 was excellent in terms of sales for Apple because both iDevices and Macs attracted the attention of consumers from all over the world and generated very high revenues for the American company. In Q4 2011, Apple seems to have occupied the third place in the list of PC sellers in the US according to the Gartner si IDC. The two studies claim that Apple sold over 2 million Macs in the last fiscal quarter of last year, only half of what HP and Dell sold, but more than Toshiba, Acer, Asus or others.

At the global level, Apple is not doing so well, failing to enter at least the top 5 PC sellers, but things are going well and maybe next year the company will occupy a better place. For Apple Macs are very important, but iDevices are the ones that generate the most money, so it is normal that most of the company's attention is focused there.
