7 years ago, Steve Jobs took the stage of an Apple conference at MacWorld to present to the whole world the new Mac Mini, the smallest Mac built by the Apple company. Mac Mini is essentially equipped with components that you find in any laptop, but it is smaller than a normal laptop and can be connected, as Steve Jobs says in the clip, to any monitor, keyboard or mouse. Mac Mini is a very simple and elegant solution to have a PC in the house, it is quiet, small and almost as powerful as an iMac. The Mac Mini version available now is much thinner than the one in the clip, and that's because it lacks the optical drive.
I have a Mac Mini, it was the simplest and cheapest solution to buy a Mac and for now I don't regret the purchase made. If you want a Mac but don't have thousands or tens of thousands of lei to buy a MacBook Air with an iPad tablet screen or a MacBook Pro/iMac, then you should think about a Mac Mini.
