A few weeks ago I wrote this article in which I told you about the conditions under which Foxconn employees in China work. Well, the man who experienced everything directly around the Foxconn factories spoke to CBS television about the working conditions there and how Apple and the other big companies deal with the problem. I told you yesterday that all the big companies look at the problems of Chinese consumers with exactly the same eyes and that it is up to them as well as us to stop everything and the video clip above presents the same idea.
At Foxconn, 1 million employees work only in China, but the company has dozens of factories all over the world and if Apple had not been so popular, then probably no one would have cared what is happening in China now. I don't think much will change in the near future, Apple has nothing to do if it wants to keep the production cost at a low level and all the big companies are in exactly the same situation.
