Would you still use a stylus with a smartphone?

At the launch of the iPhone, Steve Jobs gave his opinion on the styluses that were found on almost every kind of smartphone in 2007. Back then they were used to control the small UI of equally small screens and for some it was even useful. Today, I have seen this kind of tools mainly used by couriers or merchandisers, but less by ordinary users who have found in their fingers the best "device" for controlling a touchscreen. Samsung he wants to bring it back to life the stylus in the commercials for the hybrid called Galaxy Note, but who needs it at the moment?

Samsung recommends it for drawing, but I don't know how many users sit with the phone (although the Galaxy Note is too big to be called a phone) in their hand to draw with the stylus, but the Asian company is convinced that many would do this. I, for one, have never had an affinity for styluses because I simply do not understand their purpose in the normal use of a mobile phone interface. The world has evolved from the stylus to the use of capacitive screens that do not need such devices to function properly, but unfortunately Samsung sees an "evolution" in involution.
