Orange Romania is doing a good deed, giving free national and online minutes to people in areas blocked by snow

I would like to take this opportunity to recommend that you donate something, if you can, to the people who are in the areas affected by the recent weather codes.

Bucharest, February 13, 2012. Orange Romania is with the people from the rural areas of the 20 counties[1] in the country who received, during Sunday, February 12, 2012, the orange code warning issued by the National Meteorological Administration. PrePay customers, from the area mentioned above, will receive 200 minutes in the network and 10 minutes outside the network, valid for a week, to be able to communicate with family or friends, in case their credit has been used up. Also, subscribers, natural and legal persons, from the respective counties will benefit from a postponement of the payment deadline of 7 days for Orange invoices.

Orange Romania will make available 1000 mobile phones equipped with PrePay cards, which will be distributed to people in rural areas under the orange code alert with the help of the authorities. In addition, Orange Romania joins the aid campaign started by the Red Cross. Thus, the company's employees will collect non-perishable food, water and first aid items that will be distributed by the Red Cross in the affected areas. Also, Orange Romania will donate the sum of 5000 Euros to the Red Cross, which organizes the "Appeal for people isolated by snow" campaign.
