iPad 3 would come with an 8 megapixel camera and a slightly modified design

About two weeks separate us from the day when the iPad 3 tablet should be presented and here we have new information about what we will find in it. Today's information is coming from a site in China which claims that the tablet will have an 8-megapixel camera and a slightly modified case compared to the iPad 2. The 8-megapixel camera should be as good as the one in the iPhone 4S, the only one with such a camera, and the case is similar to that of the iPad 2, but its edges have a greater degree of inclination.

The iPad 3 enclosure seems to have a more gradual taper to the edges than the iPad 2. The taper is seen better on the top overview photograph. As a result of this longer taper, the iPad 3's camera rests on the taper itself. The absolute positioning of the camera doesn't seem that far off from the iPad 2, but the lens does appear larger. According to NextMedia, the new iPad 3 camera will see a significant upgrade to 8 megapixels.

The change in the design of the case will be insignificant and will not affect in any way the possibility of using the SmartCover covers or any kind of similar accessories. In addition to the information about the camera and the case, we have other information that indicates that the tablet will come with Retina Display and quad-core and that the presentation date is March 7. Information like this has been published and all of them indicate exactly the same thing: Retina Display, better camera, better processor, but it remains to be seen how exactly Apple thought of the new tablet.
