Apple is preparing the launch of a new Apple TV while only 4 stores in the US still have the old model in stock

Besides the iPad 3 at the event tomorrow night we will most likely see a new model of Apple TV. Of the more than 200 Apple stores in the US, only 4 they still have the model in stock, the rest mentioning that only on March 9/15 a new model will be available for pickup from the store. Considering that the product will be presented on March 7, an availability deadline of March 16 would be correct because then the iPad 3 tablet could also be put on sale. Until now, it has been rumored that a new Apple TV with the J33 code will be presented at tomorrow's conference and that that model would have a dual-core processor, a powerful graphics chip and would be able to display multimedia content in 1080p format on televisions.

With Apple's iPad 3 media event now roughly 36 hours away and Apple also expected to unveil an updated Apple TV at the event, we've been watching as more and more Apple retail stores are running dry of the current model. By our most recent count, 98% of Apple's 246 US stores are currently out of stock, leaving only four with the Apple TV available for immediate pickup during store hours.

It is clear that Apple will replace the product since more than 90% of its stores no longer have it in stock and since the iPad 3 will be presented tomorrow, it is more than certain that we will also see the new Apple TV. The information obtained so far suggests that the new Apple TV will be initially launched only in the USA, and the rest of the countries would put it on sale in the following weeks. Although the product is announced to be extremely interesting, unfortunately it will not offer Romanians the opportunity to watch movies or TV shows through iTunes, because these services are unavailable in our country. If we buy a new Apple TV, we will still have the possibility to do Airplay mirroring for iDevices to a TV, so we will be able to watch movies/play games directly from our own terminals.
