Apple sued by a customer dissatisfied with Siri

The Apple company sees Siri as a personal assistant that helps users to do various tasks much more easily with their own smartphones. An owner of the iPhone 4S terminal does not seem to agree with the advertising spots made to promote Siri and decided to sue the company. He claims that the advertisements of the Apple company are misleading because there Siri is presented as a software that can be extremely easily used by the owners of the iPhone 4S terminal, but in reality the personal assistant in iOS 5 is not quite as fast and "understanding" as it is presented Apple.

[I]n many of Apple's television advertisements, individuals are shown using Siri to make appointments, find restaurants, and even learn the guitar chords to classic rock songs or how to tie a tie. In the commercials, all of these tasks are done with ease with the assistance of the iPhone 4S's Siri feature, a represented functionality contrary to the actual operating results and performance of Siri.

The complainant is mainly upset that Siri does not respond very quickly to commands, but the assistant also has other problems that many have encountered. In the lawsuit, Siri is described as an imperfect, unfinished system, and in reality it is. Apple announced from the beginning that Siri is a project in the beta stage at the moment, so it should not be surprising that the assistant does not work perfectly. It is true that Apple should have emphasized the fact that Siri is a beta project, but in this way it would probably have lost many customers.

Of course, Apple did not want to comment on the subject, but the chances that the action will not be successful are extremely high because Apple announced from the very beginning that Siri is available in beta version.
