Corona

For iOS 5.0/5.0.1 Pod 2G, Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team have developed an untethered jailbreak solution called Corona and based on it we were able to jailbreak all our iDevices. In a document publicat on Wednesday, Apple describes the iOS vulnerabilities that have been fixed and for the Apple kernel, it lists a vulnerability that was discovered by a team generically called the 2012 iOS jailbreak Dream Team. In January, this team was generically named iOS Jailbreak Dream Team by Pod2G in one article published on its blog and Apple took note of the name and credited the people involved in exploiting the vulnerability.

Available for: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation) and later, iPad, iPad 2

Impact: A malicious program could bypass sandbox restrictions

Description: A logical issue existed in the handling of debug system calls. This may allow a malicious program to gain code execution in other programs with the same user privileges.
