The iPad tablet was launched in 2010 and although at first it was viewed with great distrust by many people (me included), two years later it is one of the most desired gadgets on the market. 55 million iPad tablets have been sold worldwide in just two years, and almost 10% of them were sold in just one weekend a week ago. People spend 3 hours a day using their own tablet, it is mostly owned by men and is mainly used for surfing the Internet.
The interesting part is that the tablet has generated a significant decrease in the use of desktops/laptops and this will not stop soon, especially since next year we will have a new iPad tablet maybe even much better.
