OTA Begone hides the badge of the Settings application that tells you that there is an update available for iOS

If you have a jailbreak on an iDevice then you know that at the moment there is no untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.1 and if you have iOS 5.0.1 then the Settings application displays a badge that informs you that you can update to the latest version of iOS . Some of the users don't want to see that badge there because applying the update would lead to the loss of the possibility to make untethered jailbreak and for them there is OTA Begone. This tweak hides the badge of the Settings application and to return it there, the tweak from Cydia must be uninstalled.

Delete the OTA Update Badge on the Settings app! Just install, run the app and voila! The magic has done it's work, and you are now OTA badge free! If the badge reappears, run the app again. If the OTA Update Badge Re-Appears for whatever reason, just run the app again. If you wish, you can also manually run this app via Mobile Terminal by running the command "OTABegone".

OTA Begone is available for free in Cydia and only works on iOS 5.
