Last night the Apple company told the whole world that in Q2 2012 (Q1 for the rest of the world) it earned no less than 39.2 billion dollars and had a net profit of 11.6 billion dollars. This fiscal quarter lasted 12 weeks between January 1 and March 31 and during this period Apple had a profit of almost 1 billion solaris per week (966 million). The number is enormous for any company, but if we divide it further, we find that every day Apple made a profit of 138 million dollars, and every minute Apple obtained a profit of 95.833 dollars.
Few companies can boast similar results, those from Apple obtained them thanks to the high price we pay for iDevices and Macs, and with our help the company raised funds of 110.2 billion dollars. The profit registered by Apple now is lower than that of the previous fiscal quarter, but it is double the one registered a year ago and it seems that for Apple there is only growth in terms of receipts and profit.
