On Saturday we presented you an extremely, extremely interesting tweak called Quasar, and with its help you can turn the iPad tablet into a "laptop" because Quasar allows you to open iOS applications in windows, just like you open folders in Windows or Mac OS X. Here I explained it to you everything you need to know about Quasar, and now I'll tell you how I view the whole experience. As a concept, Quasar is great, it brings to a tablet what you haven't seen on other mobile devices, but unfortunately the whole experience is still far from pleasant for the user. The applications all open in windows, but their manipulation is cumbersome and the resizing definitely complicates the process of using the applications.
If we are to talk about the experience of using the applications, then I will tell you that everything looks the same as on the iPhone in the small window of an application and it was normal to be like that, but I don't know how many will prefer to use this system to the detriment of the native one from iOS. If you want to play with Quasar, then I think the idea behind it is great, you can impress your friends, but beyond that I don't think the tweak is necessary. Quasar isn't worth $10, but it's one of the most innovative tweaks I've seen this year and could be in the top 10 tweaks released in 2012, but only based on the idea behind it.
The good part of the Quasar tweak is that it gives you the opportunity to see how an iPad tablet with a 7.85-inch screen would look, but I'm also curious to see how everything will look on the iPad 3.
Oare este multitasking ? Adica de exemplu skype video intr-o fereastra si safari in alta?
Da este, are mici probleme cu orientarea device-ului ( e posibil ca video-ul sa fie transmis cu o orientare gresita ), dar merge sa ai o fereastra deschisa cu skype, si una cu safari ( tocmai ce am testat ), nu merge pe de alta parte facetime, aplicatia nu se deschide cat timp tweak-ul este activ
deci e prea tare!
mi se pare atat de tare incat parca l-as vrea si pe iphone, chiar daca este complet inutilizabil! :))
L_am testat. A mers ok , totul bine , pana intr-un anumit punct cand s-a blocat pur si simplu ipadul. A trebuit resetat prin apasarea power+home . Tweakul este interesant , dar stabilitatea cu anumite aplicatii lasa de dorit. L-am dezactivat.
Numai bun de ignorat.
