Apple and Samsung collect 99% of the profit of the entire industry of mobile phone manufacturers

It was expected that Apple and Samsung would take the money of many mobile phone manufacturers and here it is in Q1 2012 this thing is happening, because 99% of the profit generated by mobile phone manufacturers ended up in the accounts of Samsung and Apple companies. In the image above you have a very nice graph and you can see there that 73% of the industry's profit went to Apple, 26% went to Samsung and the remaining 1% was distributed to the rest of the manufacturers. Making a comparison with the previous fiscal quarter, we notice that Apple collected 2% less money, while Samsung collected 10% more money, so the profit of the Korean company is on a very good trajectory at the moment.

If we are to talk strictly about the money collected from mobile phones, then Apple put about 8-9 billion dollars into their accounts, while Samsung took almost 4, and the rest of the manufacturers took several hundred million dollars, some of them going even at a loss. Samsung and Apple are recording extremely good sales, while Motorola, HTC, RIM, LG, Sony Ericsson and Nokia are either losing money or making extremely little from the sale of mobile phones, and things don't seem to be going well for them in the future.

I believe that this fiscal quarter will not be repeated very soon and I say this because I find it hard to believe that Apple and Samsung could once again obtain 99% or even 100% of the profit of the entire industry of mobile phone manufacturers.
