iPhone 4 and iPad 2 vs other smartphones and tablets in a screen test

  Because summer is about to start and users will use smartphones and tablets more and more often in direct sunlight, those from DisplayMate they thought of testing the screens of the most popular smartphones and tablets to see which one performs best when used in direct sunlight. For the tests were used: Apple iPad 2, Amazon Kindle Fire, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Apple iPhone 4, HTC Desire, Motorola Droid X, Nokia Lumia 900, Samsung Galaxy S.

  In terms of smartphones, the Nokia Lumia 900 came out on top, and the iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S came in second and the performance of the terminal produced by Nokia is surprising considering that the device uses an AMOLED screen, but which benefits from thanks to ClearBlack technology. In terms of tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 came out on top, and the iPad 2 tablet came in second, but the test should have been done on the iPad 3 tablet, considering that it has a completely different screen that would probably could have done better.

  In conclusion, Nokia Lumia 900 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 are the devices that offer the best visibility in direct sunlight, but the iPad 3 should not be excluded.
