International Locations for Siri allows you to search for certain locations in Romania using Siri

Last evening, a tweak called International Locations for Siri appeared in Cydia that allows iDevice owners to search for locations using Siri. Normally, Siri can search for locations only in the US because the Yelp service used by Siri for locations is not yet sufficiently widespread in the rest of the world. Using International Locations for Siri you can search through Siri in countries outside the US, the developer saying that it is compatible with over 150 countries, so theoretically you should be able to use it in Romania.

Add-on enables location searches ("Where's the closest restaurant?", "Find nearby hospitals", etc.) in non-US countries.

International Locations for Siri currently only works in English and you must use expressions such as "Where's the closest," "Show nearby," "Where am I," "Where can I get some food,"  to see related locations. The tweak works based on the AssistantExtension plugin and is available in Cydia for $0.99. The tweak only works on iOS 5 and is compatible with Spire.

Well I feel that Siri is a useful tool and local business searches are one of the more important functions that Siri provides. As Apple has neglected to include this feature for the majority of the world, I think that my enabling it with this tweak will make Siri much more useful for people outside of the US At the moment, the context is slightly limited ("Where's the closest ,” “Show nearby,” “Where am I,” “Where can I get some food,” etc.). I hope to make it as close to Apple's implementation as possible with my upcoming updates.
