Apple, OS X and the "problem" of the names of future versions of the operating system

Those from Gizmodo presents the names chosen by Apple for the operating systems released so far for users and the way the company jumped from one name to another. Notice that Apple had a rather strange way of choosing names for its OS X, and it seems that soon it might run out of strong and attractive names for it. Mountain Lion is the latest used for a version of OS X to be released in the summer, but after it no one knows what Apple will choose.

Leaving aside the names that contain the word cat and the names Lynx/Ocelot that have already been used, Apple could completely change the name of OS X and maybe soon we will see a completely changed OS XI much closer to iOS.
